MCC Partners with JED Campus to Support Students' Mental Health
Middlesex Community College has partnered with JED Campus Initiative to increase and strengthen student wellness services on campus. The nonprofit organization works with Middlesex to provide evidence-based practices and resources to help MCC improve their support and response to students' mental health challenges.

Starting in April 2024, Middlesex Community College received a $1,012,438 grant from the Mass Life Sciences Center (MLSC) Pathmaker program. The funding assists in expanding the college’s Advanced Manufacturing with Robotics and Automation offerings through MCC’s Corporate Education and Training division.

The MassEducate and MassReconnect programs allow all Massachusetts residents who have not yet earned a bachelor's degree to attend MCC for free. No tuition. No fees. And both programs include an allowance for books and supplies for certain students.

In his second year at Middlesex Community College, Heet Shah is already advancing in his career. From India and now living in Lowell, Shah works both as a Sales and Services Representative for Northern Bank through the college’s Learn and Earn program and as a Student Leader for MCC’s Academic Centers for Enrichment (ACE). Being able to work while completing his associate degree has provided “immense benefits” to enhance his experience at Middlesex.
